About
We help nonprofits get every security grant they qualify for.
The federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program puts up to $200,000 per site in the hands of nonprofits at high risk of terrorist or extremist attacks. Several states run their own parallel programs. Most nonprofits we've met don't know which ones apply to them, and even sophisticated organizations get tripped up by the paperwork.
SecurityGrants.com is a free tool that fixes that. Take a quick 2-minute eligibility check, and we surface every grant your nonprofit qualifies for — federal, state, and (as we expand) private foundation programs. For each one, you see the funding details, deadline, requirements checklist, and starting links.
We'll always be free for nonprofits. The plan to keep it that way is to build complementary tools for the grant writers and security vendors who serve this community — if you're one of them, we'd love to hear from you on the Partners page.
What you can expect
- ✓An honest assessment. If a grant isn't a match, we tell you why and what (if anything) could change that for the next cycle.
- ✓Plain English over jargon. Federal grant language is dense. We translate so you can actually use it.
- ✓No data selling.Your email is used only for what you signed up for — deadline reminders, new grants added to the catalog. We don't sell, rent, or share.
How we keep data current
Funding amounts, deadlines, and eligibility rules change every fiscal year. We monitor FEMA's NOFOs and each State Administrative Agency's page, and we update the catalog as cycles open and close. If you spot something out of date, email us — we'll fix it and credit you in the changelog.
